The 2005-06 Upper Deck Hockey card series is considered one of the greatest modern sets due to a historic rookie class, including the highly sought-after Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin rookie cards. The set was split into two series and offered a variety of base, insert, and memorabilia cards. The complete base set consists of 487 cards, with 242 in Series 1 and 245 in Series 2.
